Seen many different answers but for me, it was plug in controller. Start big picture mode. Settings, controller settings. Make sure playstation support is on. Restart steam. Back to big picture mode. Go to the game, controller settings, and for global configuration settings go to Force off. This is because Far Cry 5 as built in support. Thank

If you want to play as a hired gun, all you have to do is accept an invite from a friend. If you want to host a game, however, there are a few more steps to it: Open up the menu (touchpad on PS4, back on Xbox) Scroll to the online tab (using R1/RB and L1/LT) Select Invite Friends (all the way to the left) Choose a friend from your friends list.
