I have just purchased a 2003 Mondeo mk3 with the 90ps duratorq engine. I saw the car twice before i purchased, unfortuantly both times it was hot and making no noises. long story short i have decided to replace the cam chain tensioner as that end of the chain is making a horrible noise for the first 15 minutes of operation each day, the car has james125. Earlier this year my father purchased a 2004 MK3 Ford Mondeo Estate Ghia with the Duratorq 2.0 TDCi 115hp engine. The car had done 110,000 when he bought it and had a full Ford service history. Seemed like a good buy and I recommended it to him and even lent him some cash for it.

The FEPS cable is the flash eeprom programming signal cable which goes from pin 13 of the DLC to the ecu/pcm. It's a single cable which has 18v applied to it when reprogramming the PCM to tell the PCM to go into reprogramming mode. Yeah all other communications work fine but I'd like to perform a reflash so need to wire a FEPS cable to the PCM.
