107 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Mar 16, 2015. Dealer says I should have a transmission flush around 45,000 mi. but I am reading in my manual 97,500 mi. I don't mind having it done, just looking for clarification. At 45,000 mi. the manual says to inspect the EVAP system, change air filter and oil change/rotate tires. Thanks.

Most are disconnecting the line at the transmission in the drivers side wheel well. Fluid comes out of that hose, put a hose extension on the cooler line and flush from there. 2012 Cruze LT, 1.4L, AT 91,000 Miles as of 6/20.

5048 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Mar 1, 2012. Let's make a list of specific tools needed to work on the Cruze: Engine/transmission bolts: External Torx socket set. Battery terminal bolts: 10mm socket. Remove the negative first! The positive terminal CAN ground out to the body with a regular wrench!
